One of the myths we hear today is how biased the news media has become and how once, long ago, in a golden age of broadsheet papers sold on street corners by young lads shouting out the headlines, and nightly radio programs that crackled through paper speakers mounted in hardwood cabinets, the news used to be true, fair, and accurate.

That is the myth: the news has never been true, fair, and accurate: It has always been agenda driven. At times the agenda is simply to make the owners of the platform money, and at times it is to further a political or social objective. Sometimes it’s both. In a word, it has always been partisan. What has changed is that the pretense of objectivity, once the watchword of true journalism, even if it was more of an ideal than a reality, is no longer in fashion.

Given that my duties to this blog and the ANP require I make some attempt to keep abreast of worldly events, I spend a fair amount of time reading news articles from an extremely broad cross-section of sources: liberal, conservative, Jewish, Muslim, Christian, foreign, press-releases, transcripts, conservative talk radio, NPR, etc., all in an attempt to determine which narrative comes closest to the truth once the actual facts are known. Astute National Socialists cannot afford to take any news item at face value without performing at least some degree of due-diligence to ascertain the story’s truthfulness and inherent bias: it’s all propaganda, and it’s not our propaganda. Caveat emptor, and, no, I’m not on blood-pressure medication, yet.

In the United States, and perhaps worldwide, fewer people get their news from traditional or legacy sources (television and print), increasingly turning to online providers, primarily “social media”. However, even these sources rely on the news departments of the legacy media for their content and marching orders. There are few “big players” in the States, and generally they are, for want of a better term, “liberal”, or, in the parlance of the industry, have a “left lean bias.” How could they not: they are staffed by people who have matriculated through our communist-influenced educational system over the last forty or fifty years.

Like most people in this country, to learn what the “conservative” talking-points for the day are, I look at FOX News. To be clear: I don’t like FOX News. I don’t trust FOX News. But they are one of the sources of our national narrative, and as such, it is worthwhile to know what they are saying. I have always viewed them much in the same fashion that I see the Republicans in relation to the Democrats: one side of the same coin, appealing to a specific demographic for monetary gain, and to provide the “circuses” in the “bread and circuses” equation. That is their role: if the Liberal Lemmings say one thing, FOX says the other. Given that the Lemmings often say truly ridiculous and awful things (e.g., men are women, gender reassignment of prepubescent children is fine, national borders are unnecessary, Whites are to blame for every ill in the world, etc.), this approach often makes FOX News sound like the voice of sense and reason.

And while the same could be said of other media outlets—if FOX says one thing, then the others are all but obligated to say the opposite—given the fiasco that was the Democratic party’s attempt at participating in the last presidential election, the following headline from TV Insider was no great surprise:

I found this headline troubling and, to be frank, a little befuddling. You might think this is great news for traditional and conservative voices in America. You would be wrong. It is fantastic news for Israel.

Here’s why: while we can debate the extent of Jewish ownership or control of the media in this country, it is certainly demonstrable that they control, own, or influence in no small degree the major news outlets, with the notable exception of FOX News, and their parent, FOX Corporation. And yet, it is FOX News that has become the unabashed cheerleader of all things Zionist and Israeli, while the more ostensibly Jewish outlets have taken a somewhat moderated tone regarding the Great Israeli Land-grab in Gaza.

I noticed this FOX News bias immediately after the start of the Land-grab in October 2023, but it was early days and everyone was still trying to find their footing, and some military response by Israel was to be expected, even if just to save face. But as time went on, most major news outlets began to become more even or balanced in their coverage, reporting the “none dare call it genocide” of the Palestinians, Israel’s ongoing attempt to thwart aid to civilians, and while acknowledging the reprehensible attacks on civilians by Hamas on October 7^th, made it clear that Israel has far-and-away gone beyond any justifiable retribution.

But not FOX.

They are the poster-child of Israeli fan-boys from start to finish. Don’t believe me? Go on the FOX New’s website, and search for the word “Israel”. Here are some of the results that pop up:

Maybe we need to broaden the scope. Let’s search for “Gaza”:

And so on. Notice anything? First, every article is pro-Jewish, pro-Israel or from the Israeli perspective. The Palestinian point-of-view is either downplayed, or ignored all together, in EVERY article. Second, they have no problem quoting Jewish sources, but any Palestinian source is immediately considered possible “misinformation”. Do the same thing at NBC or CNN, and you will find the exact opposite.

Discounting the role of institutional investors (BlackRock, etc., as they are the same investors that invest in the other media outlets), how can this be: FOX is not owned by a Jew.

Two words: Rupert Murdoch. More specifically, the Murdoch Trust owns a controlling interest in FOX Corporation. Without putting too fine a point on it, Rupert Murdoch is Jewish like Donald Trump is Jewish: to borrow an expression from Elon Musk, they are “aspirationally Jewish”.

As Murdoch himself said:

“Over the years, some of my wildest critics seem to have assumed I am Jewish. At the same time, some of my closest friends wish I were.”

How cute. [UPDATE: Be sure to read the comment at the end of the article from Dan Schneider. It appears Murdoch is (covertly and begrudgingly) Jewish!]

Whole books have been written about the Murdoch’s, so I’m not going to go in depth here. To be frank, being the somewhat naive person that I am, I’m still trying to get my mind around how someone who is not Jewish can be such an ardent support of a Zionist state. But in trying answer this question (spoiler alert: I’m pretty sure it has to do with money), I came across a few interesting highlights that underscore Murdoch’s unflinching support of all things Israeli:

• In 2007, his News Corp business donated to the Jerusalem Foundation, a group that builds illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
• In October 2010, the Anti-Defamation League in New York City presented Murdoch with its International Leadership Award “for his stalwart support of Israel and his commitment to promoting respect and speaking out against antisemitism.”
• In 2010, an Israeli newspaper published a leaked list compiled by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of whom he considered his best sources of campaign contributions. Murdoch’s name appears on the list alongside the designation of number two.
• Also in 2010, Murdoch and his buddy Lord Jacob Rothschild purchased equity stakes and joined the board of directors of Genie Energy. Technically a US company, its corporate leadership is primarily Jewish and does most of it’s drilling and energy production in Israel, and its advisory board includes such luminaries as: Murdoch himself, Dick Cheney, James Woolsey (former CIA Director), Larry Summers (Jewish former head of the Treasury Department), Michael Steinhardt (Jewish billionaire hedge-fund manager), Jacob Rothschild (Jew from THE Jewish family, now deceased)
  • Interestingly, Israel granted Genie oil exploration rights in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. Genie drilled 10 exploratory wells over three years, even though the drilling of new wells – let alone fracking – by an occupying power is illegal.
• Murdoch often employs moral relativism to justify the killing of non-combatants by Israel. When asked about Israeli war crimes, his first response was “Why do we never hear calls for Hamas leaders to be charged with war crimes?” Short answer Rupert: they’re dead.
• In a now infamous 2012 tweet, Murdoch asked:

This last highlight, the tweet from 2012, is equal parts troubling and illuminating. First, note his acknowledgment that there is such a thing as a Jewish owned press. Given his role and influence in the industry, I trust he would know. Second, he seems to believe that the owners of media outlets should require their reporting to conform to their owner’s political preferences and world-views, rather than reflect observed reality. That’s certainly how he views FOX.

But Rupert Murdoch is not a hypocrite and puts his money where his mouth is: Since the start of the Land Grab, FOX Corporation has organized fundraising for the UJA-Federation of New York’s Israel Emergency Fund. The company itself has donated over $1 million to support medical care and resources to Israeli soldiers and civilians. Not Palestinians. FOX has also provided free airtime for Public Service Announcements from the Foundation to Combat Anti-Semitism, the nonprofit run by billionaire Robert Kraft.

Again In his own words:

“My ventures in media are not as important to me as spreading my personal political beliefs…For better or worse, The News Corporation is a reflection of my thinking, my character, and my values.”

In short, Rupert Murdoch is Israel’s international-news waterboy.

Why is this important to us? According to several recent articles, the 18 to 30 year-old demographic is taking a turn for the conservative… which plays directly into the recent FOX News ratings surge. In short, younger people are recognizing that the neo-communist drivel that most of the main stream media regurgitates consists of nothing more than empty promises, delusional beliefs, and Orwellian double-speak. As a consequence they are looking for an alternative narrative. They are finding FOX News. Which means they are getting the pro-Zionist agenda drilled into them every time they look for guidance, information, or ideas. We need to get the word out to them that they are being conned. They are trading one set of lies for another, all designed to prop-up the very system that has helped to create their sense of despair and despondency in the first place.

I do sympathize. I had the same experience: when I got out of the Army, I went to work in a factory and became a union member. Deciding that working for a living was too much work, I went to college. After that experience, I discovered Rush Limbaugh and he served as my “deprogrammer”, helping to pierce the “hippie fog” I had become was lost in. I know, I know…he was far from perfect. But I wasn’t born a National Socialist, and he was the opposite of the influences I was laboring under at the time, a conservative “gateway-drug” out of the collegiate liberal fallacy. FOX has become that default “deprogrammer” for another generation. As noted, younger voters are trending more conservative, looking for meaning in their lives, and reevaluating traditional values. If FOX temporarily serves as a gateway-drug out of the Liberal Lemming lie, then all for the good. But what we must not allow to go unchallenged is for a whole generation of our youth to take their orders from a Zionist propaganda machine. Eventually, the lies perpetrated by FOX must also be exposed. This is where your efforts to spread the National Socialist message comes in.

Let there be no misunderstanding: the conservative-right in this country is pro-Israeli. The conservative-right propaganda machine, FOX, is unabashedly pro-Israeli. Partly it’s following the marching orders of The Donald, but even more, it’s following the dictates of Rupert Murdoch and his son. They are neither fair, nor balanced: they are Zionist propagandists in the extreme and the talking heads we see on their podcasts and television shows have either drunk the same kool-aid, or know full-well what side their bread is buttered on and follow their talking points to the letter.

Remember, when you are listening or watching media, social or otherwise, you are being told what someone else wants you to hear. Ask “who” and “why”.
