This post was suggested by our comrade Johann Hauptmann, who many of you may know as the creator of the 88’s comics. He was kind enough to call my attention to recent news stories regarding the government facilitated immigration of White refugees from South Africa.

I had to do a double-take: White refugees?

After four-years of Joe “Auto-pen” Biden and Jew Alejandro Mayorkas, who knew there was such a thing? We spend a fair amount of time here talking about illegal immigration into the United States, so I thought it would be nice to look at legal immigration for a change, and White immigration to boot. I was wrong. The more I researched the particulars of this event, the more irritated I became. If you want proof about the anti-White bias in this country, keep reading.

The What

The facts themselves are quite simple: On his first day in office, Trump suspended all refugee admissions to the U.S. until such time as bringing in new refugees “aligns with the interests of the United States.” But on Feb. 7, Trump issued an order making an exception for South Africa’s minority Afrikaner ethnic group, who are White. The order called Afrikaners “victims of unjust racial discrimination” and said “the United States shall promote the resettlement of Afrikaner refugees escaping government-sponsored race-based discrimination, including racially discriminatory property confiscation.” He specifically mentions the Expropriation Act, which Black South African officials said could right the wrongs of apartheid by allowing the government to seize land from Whites, without compensation, and redistribute it “in an effort to correct disparities in land ownership between non-white and white South Africans.” In other words, forced reparations.

In addition, on average, a White farmer is killed in South Africa every 5 days. To be fair, South Africa currently has the fifth-highest murder rate in the world, even outpacing such places Haiti, Mexico, and Brazil, and other African countries like Nigeria and South Sudan. But the unremitting slaughter of Whites, the calls by politicians to “kill the Boer”- meaning White farmers, coupled with the Expropriation Act, makes it all but clear that being White in South Africa is a dangerous proposition.

I’m not a big fan of sharing visceral stories of violence: the average reader or listener has enough negative news to sort through without my adding to it, and, frankly, it triggers my fight-or-flight response and gets me fired up. But this story from 2023 is emblematic and conveys the heinous conditions White South African farmers face as well as how the South African government feels about it. I apologize in advance for its graphic nature:

“Last year, there were more than 300 farm attacks and 50 murders. A particularly horrific incident in Mpumalanga, in the east of the country, happened in July: 79-year-old farmer Theo Bekker was bludgeoned over the head with an iron bar. His throat was slit and he bled to death. Bekker’s wife, Marlinda, was tied up and had a bag pulled over her head. Even when victims survive – as Marlinda did – the level of violence in these attacks can be ferocious. Torture and rape are common. Afrikaans Bibles have been left open on dismembered bodies. All too often, the timing of these attacks is no accident. Gangs — some high on drugs and alcohol — have been known to turn up at remote farms, armed to the teeth, often late in the month when employers have wads of cash in their homes ready to pay workers. It is unlikely to be a coincidence that the attack on Bekker’s farm took place on 30 July.”

What was the South African Foreign Minister’s response to all this? “White farmers get affected by crime just like any other South African.”

Accordingly, on May 12^th, 59 (some outlets report 49) White Afrikaners were welcomed into the United States. From the way the Communist News Networks in this country covered it, you would have thought the Trump Administration had relocated to Johannesburg.

The Crybabies

Such bastions of truth, justice, and the American way as ABC NEWS (and the AP, and CNN, and the usual cast of characters) covered the story with one paragraph or so about the incoming White refugees, then paragraph after paragraph crying about it, debating what the word “genocide” means (which, according to them, is a term that only applies to the persecution of Jews), bemoaning Trump’s suspension of immigration from dark-skinned countries as well as parroting approved excuses from the South African government (ie., claiming stories of persecution were false, and anyway “Afrikaners are among the richest and most successful people in the country, and the most economically privileged.”) So in other words, have at ‘em.

Never mind that, left to their own devices and without outside (that is to say, White) support, Africans starve: of the 54 countries in Africa, fully 38 are experiencing famine or severe food shortages. That’s 70% of the countries on the continent. Let me repeat that: left to their own devices, Africans starve. And South Africa’s answer? Persecute the White farmers and take their land.

Black South Africans make up more than 80 percent of the population, but own just 4 percent of privately owned farmland. This fact has given a blank-check to the Marxist news media to rubber-stamp crimes against Afrikaners. But carried to its logical conclusion, taking the land from White farmers who actually grow food, and giving it to Blacks who, historically, starve, is a recipe for disaster—and more outside financial aid. Again, to be fair (we always try to be fair here at Amerika Erwache), the $440 million dollars we were giving to South Africa annually until Trump turned off the money-spicket this year was to fight the spread of HIV in that country, not for food. And I’m sure every penny went exactly to what it was ear-marked for (cough…cough).

In addition, make no mistake, liberal complaints are based on race. If the Afrikaners were AIDS riddled Hottentots, or mixed-race “raftifarians” paddling here from Haiti or Cuba, the liberal media would welcome them with open arms (as was previously demonstrated over the last 4 years).

So would the Episcopal Church.

The Episcopal Church, who helps our government with refugee resettlement in this country for some reason, threw—for want of a better expression— a hissy fit. Rev. Sean W. Rowe said the Episcopal church is unable to resettle Afrikaners because of the “church’s steadfast commitment to racial justice and reconciliation and our historic ties with the Anglican Church of Southern Africa…It has been painful to watch one group of refugees, selected in a highly unusual manner, receive preferential treatment over many others who have been waiting in refugee camps or dangerous conditions for years.”

The Facts

All this for 59 White refugees. If people such as Rev. Rowe could feel shame (and many Libtards can’t, it’s a wiring issue inside the brain), they would apologize to the Afrikaners and remember that in 2023 alone, there were 1.1 million immigrants granted legal permanent residence here; that the United States has the highest number of immigrants in the world, with an estimated 50.6 million people in the United States—a bit more than 15% of the total population—being born outside the US. Indeed, 642,542 asylum applications by refugees were received in 2023, and most of them came from Venezuela, Colombia and Cuba.

On 642,542 asylum applications, 59 is barely a rounding error. That Liberal Woketards would bother to complain about 59 Whites is mind-numbingly insulting.

But before you think Trump has finally come to his senses and is fighting for Whites in America, think again:

The president appeared to brush aside concerns about race being the main factor in letting the refugees in, saying “I don’t care about their race, their color, I don’t care about their height, their weight, I don’t care about anything, I just know that what’s happening is terrible,” while noting they “happen to be white.”

Nice. So what is it really about? As with all-things-Trump: Money and Israel. Trump is trying to negotiate tariffs and trade-deals with South Africa (the US is South Africa’s second largest trading partner, and South Africa is the largest purchaser of US goods in Africa). Embarrassing the South African government and threatening to take their farmers is a negotiating tactic.

In addition, another sticking point in the trade-relations with South Africa is their condemnation of the Israeli land-grab in Gaza and their support of the ICC charges against Trump’s bunk-buddy Netanyahu: It was originally South Africa that accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza.

Still, skipping over Trump’s real motivation, I choose to ignore the predictable anti-White wailing from the Left and look at the bright-side: At least there are 59 more White people in the United States.
